For Franchise Groups
One standard. Every store. No exceptions.
Franchise training that rolls out across your whole network — without pulling a single person off the floor.
Your brand is only as consistent as your worst-trained store.
Every franchisor knows the problem. Head office writes the standard, the operations manual says what good looks like, and then thirty stores interpret it thirty different ways. One franchisee trains properly. Another hands the manual to a supervisor who was himself trained by someone who left last year.
You find out at the audit. Or in a review. Or when a customer who loved store four walks out of store eleven and doesn’t come back.
Training is where brand consistency is won or lost — and most networks leave it to chance.
Built for networks, not individuals
One curriculum, everywhere
Every team member in every store works through the same modules, the same assessments and the same 70% pass mark. Your standard stops depending on who happens to be training that week.
Head-office visibility
See who has enrolled, who has completed and who is falling behind — by store, by role, across the network. Training becomes something you can actually manage instead of something you hope is happening.
Nobody leaves the floor
No venue hire, no travel, no shifts to cover. Staff learn on their phones between tables and during quiet hours — including offline through the free mobile app.
Onboarding that scales
New store opening? New intake after a busy season? Enrol them the same day. Induction stops being a bottleneck on growth.
Certificates on record
Every learner who passes receives a Certificate of Attendance in their own name, and the record stays verifiable. Useful at audit, useful in a dispute, useful when a franchisee claims their team was trained.
Per-delegate pricing
Pay for the people you train, not for a platform licence you have to justify. Franchisees can fund their own team, or head office can carry it centrally.
We didn’t learn franchising from a book.
Hospitrain grew out of Franchise in a Box — a franchise development consultancy that has taken more than ninety South African brands through the full franchising process since 2003. Operations manuals, induction programmes, store rollouts, franchisee selection, the lot.
The training content came out of that work — from what actually went wrong on real floors, and what fixed it. It’s written by people who have sat in the franchisee’s chair and the franchisor’s, and it addresses the problems you already know you have.
Rolling it out
STEP 1
Talk it through
Tell us your network size, roles and what standard you’re trying to hold. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
STEP 2
Map the curriculum
We match courses to roles — front of house, kitchen, supervisor, manager — so nobody sits through training that isn’t theirs.
STEP 3
Pilot one store
Start with a single site. See completion rates and feedback before committing the network.
STEP 4
Roll out and track
Open it to the network with reporting from day one. Add new courses and new starters as you go.
Let’s talk about your network.
Tell us how many stores and how many people. We’ll come back with a per-delegate quote and a suggested rollout — no obligation.
